Reporting to the Marketing Director, our future Social Media Manager will have their creative and strategic hands in everything the social pod touches along with working closely with other pods within Splash.  From building strategy with the Project Manager to creative direction with the design team, to SEO and conversion tracking with the digital pod and web team, this role requires someone who can bring new ideas to all teams and guide the social pod. As many of Splash social clients work within industry in one form or another, understanding that world would be a big asset. The Social Media Manager is required (and ideally will love) staying on top of trends both creatively and with changes happening in social platforms.  You must have strong research skills to identify market trends and customer and competitor insights and be result and goal oriented.

Skills:
-Strong knowledge of social and digital marketing and tactics
-Proficiency in analytics to measure campaign performance
-Understanding of brand and how to use in social media
-Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey ideas and concepts
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Must have a basic understanding of SEO.
-Proven track record in developing successful marketing campaigns
-Strong research skills to identify market trends and customer insights
-Understanding of content strategy in supporting overall social media objectives

Your experience should cover at least 5+ years of social media management with multiple businesses and include a knowledge of paid campaigns on multiple platforms.

Duties

-Guide content and creative strategy
-Guide structure of social pod within Splash
-Proof and edit posts
-Assist in research and trends
-Review and guidance of social reporting
-Create content when needed
-Edit and evolve onboarding guides for team and clients
-Assist with engagement and direction
-Train and onboard new social strategists
-Develop plans, strategies, and programs, and provide advice and direction to the team
-Communicate effectively and creatively, both orally and in writing with the ability to develop innovative ideas and solutions.

Qualifications

-Minimum 5 years experience in social media, creating content calendars, developing strategy.
-Experience and knowledge all aspects of content creation, posting, engagement and further tactics.
-Experience working with BTB and BTC clients
-Experience working in a highly detailed and fast paced environment
-Experience working in a time tracking project management program an asset.
-Strong command of English with excellent communication, writing, and editorial skills.
-You must be collaborative and goal oriented
