Splash Media Group is looking to hire a DIGITAL STRATEGIST.  We are looking for an individual who is creative, collaborative, loves data and analytics, has strong writing and grammar skills, is detailed and has a strong understanding of marketing strategy. This position works with the Digital Strategy Director.

This position works closely with our existing social media and web team. Our successful candidate can expect to spend their days planning and executing digital and social  strategies, creating and publishing content to a variety of platforms.  This is a position and industry that continues to evolve and grow, so problem solving, patience and an eagerness to learn is essential.  The digital strategist may also be responsible for managing some social media accounts with the social media pod when required.

Duties

  • Development and execution of Google and Bing ads and other platforms as required.
  • Development and execution of Meta, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest ads (and others as required)
  • Advancement of knowledge and strategy with regards to paid campaigns
  • Collaborate and eventually direct creative direction and campaign development
  • Collaborate on  digital marketing strategies using all necessary tools (e.g. website, emails, social media and blogs)
  • Collaborate on keyword analysis and strategy for web content
  • Research products, services and current strategies to identify new opportunities
  • Analyze web traffic metrics and suggest solutions to boost web presence
  • Monitor SEO/SEM, marketing and sales performance metrics to forecast trends
  • Keep up-to-date and proactively suggest new campaign strategies or creative
  • Liaise with web and social pods to optimize customer experience and ensure brand consistency
  • Identify advertising needs
  • Establish best practices in digital marketing
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technologies developments

Qualifications

  • Experience with content writing, either creative or technical
  • Experience with paid advertising and reporting
  • Experience with analytics and interpretation
  • Be organized and able to work on your own and with others
  • Have an understanding of social platforms
  • Have a strong passion to learn and grow.
  • Be curious about clients, the industry and how things work.
